Audio systems vary, but I chose the Infinity Gold sound system. It uses 8 speakers, spread throughout the car, to produce an amazing quality of sound. I rarely need to use the equalizer to adjust the sound quality, but its bass/mid/treble setup is really nice (compared to most cars that have just bass/treble with no mid). The unit has cassette and CD Player and can be connected to an optional CD Changer. The only drawback to having a stick is the cassette is hard to load in 1st and 3rd gears (and a passenger can't load it at all), but the CD slips in just fine over the pistolgrip shifter. Electronic sunroof rounds out the car's interior and is a very nice feature. Eclipse owners can also choose a convertible version, but Eagle averred this for safety reasons.
For some reason, a lot of Mitsubishi owners complain of SEVERE water leaks in their Eclipses, but I've yet to encounter this in any Talon owner (odd, since they're both from the same place). I have a sunroof and have yet to have a single leak, even when washing the car with a high-pressure hose. If you're buying a '96/'97 Talon, though, beware: there have been factory recalls on the transmission seal and the valve cover. I had both of these and it took a while for the dealer to properly finish the job AND do so with parts that weren't themselves defective (since then, though, no problems at all).
Now, with all that enthusiasm, here are the drawbacks to the Eagle Talon: As I said before, the back seat could have been a little roomier without losing space. Glove box is almost dinky. Some reviewers complain the car squeaks a bit much; I usually only get this in cold weather. When you're sitting at a light, you have to pull back a bit because the roofline intrudes just a few inches too low on the windshield, rendering the driver unable to see the traffic light when toeing the line (unless, like me, you tip your head back a bit and look through the sunroof). Lastly - and I'd love to get others' opinions on this - my car's gearbox is cranky when it's cold. On winter days, 3 minutes in the driveway are required to make it shift without complaining. If I drive without doing this, though, the engine usually warms within a couple of miles.
